hus studio has helped the owners of successful cafe chain - The Grumpy Barista with numerous projects in Sydney and the Inner-west. We ensured that Grumpy's branding and colour scheme helped fit the heritage aesthetic of the building using a minimal palette. We also replaced the windows for bi-folding doors in order to open up the building to the street and included awnings within the structural bays of the building. 

Internally we ensured that the food premise codes were met and that the planning of the rooms worked with the clients brief - each room with its own atmosphere but still in keeping with the theme of the cafe as a whole . During the build we also advised on some of the internal finishes as and when the clients needed input.
