Women were not allowed in the public bar until 1965 and the Racial Discrimination Act was not passed until 1975, seeing the exclusion of Aboriginal men and women, including servicemen, from drinking establishments even on Anzac Day.

hūs studio was founded in 2015 by Principal Architect, Rob Burwell.
Educated in the UK at Liverpool and Manchester Universities Rob was awarded a distinction for work undertaken as part of his Bachelor of Architecture degree. For the past 20 years he has worked for a number of award winning architecture firms both in Sydney and in the UK.
At Sheppard Robson (London, UK) Rob was the project architect for a number of successful refurbishment projects for Imperial College London; at Richard Rogers (Sydney) he was part of the team that delivered The International Towers at Barangaroo and at SHED (Sydney) he led a variety of award winning commercial and residential projects including Hotel 1888 in Pyrmont.
